Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter – Olympus Zuiko (OM) 35mm SLR Lens to Nikon F Mount SLR Camera Body
If you have a SLR or DSLR camera and other maker/mount lenses, the Fotodiox Mount Adapters allow you to use your lenses on the film/digital camera body. This Fotodiox lens mount adapter is made with high standard precision. This adapter has a built-in 1.4x Multi-Coated Focus Correction lens to adjust for infinity focus. The glass element can be removed for macro photography. This adapter allows certain Olympus OM Lenses to fit on a Nikon F-Mount DSLR Cameras.
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly. In this case “stop-down mode” will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode. Infinity focusing is allowed with the built-in 1.4x Multi-Coated Focus Correction Lens.
Compatible Cameras (including but not limited to): Nikon D40, D50, D60, D70, D70s, D80, D90, D100, D200, D300, D700, D1, D1X, D1H, D2X, D2H, D3, D3X, Fuijifilm S2, Fuijifilm S3 (not limited to this list, as long as the body takes a Nikon F mount lens)
Not compatible with Nikon Film Advanced Photo System (APS); Pronea 600i, Pronea 6i, Pronea S or any Nikon IX Mount Lenses
Please note: Some OM mount lenses (typically prime lenses) have a shield that protrudes from the rear of the mount, this shield will prevent the lens from mounting on the adapter. To see if your lens will fit properly, make sure the distance from mount to most protruding tip is less than 9mm in length.
